About the meetings
Unless otherwise indicated, meetings will be held at the Brunswick Naval Aviation Museum, 179 Admiral Fitch Ave., Brunswick, ME. Meetings start at 6:30; doors open at 6:00.

Our first meeting of the season! Presentation of Best Shot images and preview of club activities.

Field trip to Maine Audubon at Gilsland Farm in Falmouth.

Septemeber 18
5 Minutes of Fame! Members submit 5 images of their choice, taken at any time, and stand before the audience while images are shown to talk for 5 minutes.

In-person meeting with Knapp Hudson: “From Oz to Kansas.” An overview of converting images to black-and-white, using Lightroom and Photoshop.

Tech Night: MACRO NIGHT SHOOT-A-RAMA! Photographers bring objects, gear and optional lighting for a hands-on macro shooting night.

Guest speaker Michele McDonald, “Art in Photojournalism.” Former photo editor of the Portland Press Herald. Now teaching at Northeastern in Boston.

IN PERSON: PHOTO EXCHANGE: Vintage and Contemporary Equipment Sale, Swap and Info Sharing. Members are encouraged to bring their antique or unusual cameras for display on tables and to talk with members about them.

PHOTO BOOK SPEED DATE. Everyone brings one book for perusal and discussion. One person looking through the book is paired with the one who brought it to ask questions and stimulate discussion. Timed rotations move the players around.
